Prices

Item prices are displayed excluding VAT (UK sales tax).  VAT/Tax is added at the checkout stage at the relevant and current rate.

Making A Purchase

Ordering is very simple, 100% secure and we have no minimum order quantity or value.

Just browse our website to find the type of product you want then click on the image, heading or "Add item/Cart" button which will then take you to a screen with more information/specification and product options available for that product.

After selecting some compulsory Product Options (for example:- pressure range, thread size etc.) and adding any further options required then enter quantity and click on "Add item" button to add to shopping cart.

Back Orders

In the unlikely event an item is out of stock we will email you within a maximum 24 hours (normally within an hour) to notify you with an estimated date the item will be available.

At this point you can cancel the item or order, discuss an alternative product or we will put item on back order for you and despatch to you immediately stock is received.

We do not make any additional shipping charges for standard stock product back orders.  However, if any special built to order gauges are ordered at the same time as standard stock items you will be given the option of despatching the complete order when ready or sending separately where an additional shipping charge may apply.

Payment

We do not process or hold your card details but accept payment of most credit and debit cards via SagePay and Paypal.

By using SagePay (PCI DSS Level 1 compliant and 256-bit encrypted) or Paypal your credit card information is 100% secure.

Shipping & Handling

All orders are well and appropriately packed which is necessary due to the delicate nature of instrumentation.  In the unlikely event you should have need to return goods please pack to the same standard if the original packing has been discarded.

For our industry we offer competitive shipping charges as we have negotiated keen rates with our carriers thanks to the volume of orders we despatch daily.

Provided products ordered are in stock we always aim to process and ship same day for orders received by us before 3.30pm (UK time).

Please note our carriers collect daily at 4pm (UK time) but should you wish to place an order after 3.30pm (UK time) for next day delivery please contact us to discuss delivery options and costs.

UK Shipping

We use UPS or TNT depending on the weight and service as we have found them to be the most reliable of all the carriers we have experience with.

Most orders are despatched for next working day delivery (before 5:30pm) to the vast majority of UK mainland postcodes.  Delivery to some remote area postcodes, Scottish Highlands and Offshore Islands may take 2-3 days and cost more (available shipping options with the correct charge will be displayed depending on address entered) at both the cart stage and on checkout.

For urgent orders a next working day delivery before noon, next working day before 10.30am or Saturday before 5.30pm/Noon/10.00am or 9.00am services are also available at a higher cost.

Larger orders (over 30kg), or orders to certain remote post code areas may be charged at a higher rate than normal.  Should this be the case we will always contact you for agreement before we ship.

For extremely urgent orders a same day delivery service by bike courier or car (depending on size/weight) can possibly be arranged depending on the time order is received and distance to delivery address.

Please note:-

If there is no-one to accept delivery the carrier may leave parcel/s with a neighbour leaving an explanatory note.  If you prefer this not to happen please specify a delivery address that can accept delivery at all times.

We prefer not to send orders by Royal Mail due to the lack of traceability.
If you prefer a small order to be despatched by 1st Class Recorded or Special Delivery please contact us to check viability and cost but lack of traceability must be accepted.

EU Shipping

Depending on the size of the order we would ship by UPS, TNT or DPD and will advise you cost before proceeding.

Outside EU Shipping
