Our industrial gas-filled thermometers are engineered for highly accurate, fast-response temperature monitoring in demanding chemical, power, and process industries. By using the linear thermal expansion of an inert gas (typically nitrogen, N²) or a specialised non-toxic liquid, these heavy-duty instruments deliver reliable mechanical temperature readings without requiring electrical power, even over immense distances.
Dual Operating Configurations
- Rigid Stem (Local Reading): Designed for direct installation onto pipelines, tanks, or machinery where the dial face can be easily read on-site.
- Capillary & Sensor (Remote Reading): Perfect for applications where the measurement point is hazardous, vibrating, or difficult to access. The sensor is linked to the display via a flexible capillary, allowing the dial to be mounted safely in a central control panel or walk-by station.
Premium Build & Mounting Versatility
- Durable Housing: Protected by a rugged 304 stainless steel case, available in an extensive range of nominal diameters: 63mm, 80mm, 100mm, 160mm, and 250mm.
- Flexible Remote Distances: The capillary line is manufactured from high-grade 316 stainless steel and can be specified in lengths up to 100 metres to bridge large installation gaps.
- Bespoke Sensors: The 316 stainless steel sensor probe is custom-engineered to your required length and diameter, optimised to balance your exact temperature range with your chosen capillary length.
- Mounting Profiles:
- Rigid Stem: Available in traditional bottom (vertical) or back (horizontal) entry.
- Capillary Units: Configurable for panel mounting (via a 3-hole front flange or rear bracket) or surface mounting (via a 3-hole rear flange), with bottom or lower-back capillary exits.
Extreme Thermal Performance
- Exceptional Range: Built to withstand severe process environments, covering scales from -100°C up to 800°C (with custom higher or lower ranges available to order).
- Strict Accuracy: Fully compliant with DIN EN 13190, delivering Class 1 accuracy across the entire scale profile.
