The Absolute Zero Reference Principle
Unlike conventional gauges that reference ambient atmospheric pressure, these instruments measure pressure relative to a perfect vacuum:
- Sealed Reference Construction: This isolated measurement is achieved by fully evacuating the internal sensing capsule and hermetically sealing the case.
- Atmospheric Isolation: Because the system is referenced against absolute zero, local barometric pressure changes or altitude differences have zero influence on the accuracy of your readings.
